Laus Deo!

I hope this message finds you in great spirits as we begin another exciting academic year.

It is with deep gratitude and honor that I assume the role of Chief Commissioner of the XU-CSG Electoral Commission, entrusted with the duty of upholding the integrity and fairness of our student elections.

My journey within the Commission has been one of dedication, perseverance, and service. Having previously worked within ELECOM, I have witnessed firsthand the significance of student participation in shaping a democratic and transparent electoral process. Now, as Chief Commissioner, I am committed to leading this Commission with integrity, impartiality, and excellence—ensuring that every election we oversee reflects the true voice of the student body.

The Electoral Commission plays a crucial role in safeguarding our democratic rights. This year, we will work tirelessly to promote a clean, fair, and efficient election process, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and student engagement. I encourage every student to take part in this democratic exercise—not just as voters, but as advocates of ethical leadership and active citizenship.

As we embark on this journey together, I invite you all to engage with the Commission, share your insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our electoral system. Together, we can uphold the values of good governance and ensure that every election we conduct truly represents the will of the student body.

Let us move forward with a shared commitment to democracy, fairness, and service. The work ahead may be challenging, but with your trust and participation, I am confident that we will achieve great things.

In protecting the sanctity of democracy, I remain,

Khass Earl Madrid (sgd)
