WHEREAS, the XU-CSG ELECTORAL COMMISSION, hereinafter referred to as the
“Commission,” promulgated on February 5, 2025, Memorandum No. 004-2425 entitled
"Official Commencement of Botar Atenista 2025," prescribing the activities, periods,
and prohibited acts in connection with the electoral process;
WHEREAS, the said memorandum establishes the official calendar of activities for
Botar Atenista 2025, covering key dates such as the filing of candidacies, campaign
period, and election-related events;
WHEREAS, the College Student Council Debates were originally scheduled for April 16, 2025;
WHEREAS, April 16 falls within Holy Week, during which SACDEV dictates that no
student activities shall take place;
WHEREAS, to ensure compliance with university regulations and uphold the solemn
observance of Holy Week, the Commission finds it necessary to adjust the date of the
College Student Council Debates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the College Student Council Debates be
rescheduled from April 16, 2025, to April 2, 2025;
