WHEREAS,
Section 1, Article V of the Administrative Code of 2023 under “Constitutional Commissions” established the Electoral Commission as one of the four Constitutional Commissions.
WHEREAS,
Stipulated in Article IX-B Common Provisions of the Revised XU-CSG Constitutional and Bylaws of 2022 states that:
Section 67. The Electoral Commission (ELECOM) shall enforce and administer all
laws and regulations relative to the conduct of an election, plebiscite, initiative,
referendum, and recall.Section 68. ELECOM shall exercise exclusive original jurisdiction over all contests
relating to the elections, returns, and qualifications of all elective officials of XU-CSG.Section 69. ELECOM may exercise appellate jurisdiction over contests relating to
the elections, returns, and qualifications of all elective officials of CSCs and other
SGUs, as may be provided by statute or by its rules.Section 71. ELECOM shall register, after sufficient publication, political parties,
political organizations, and coalitions.
WHEREAS,
A registered political party needs accreditation from the Commission to continue entitlement to the rights and privileges granted by the Omnibus Code to the accredited political parties.
WHEREAS,
The Commission has promulgated on February 3, 2025, Resolution No. 001-2425 entitled "Resolution on Establishing Guidelines on Political Party Registration for Botar Atenista 2025" prescribing the activities, periods, and prohibited acts in connection with the Botar Atenista 2025.
WHEREAS,
Under Resolution No. 001-2425, constitutes the duration for political party registration created by the Commission from February 3, 2025, up to February 8, 2025.
WHEREAS,
The following are the confirmed accredited political parties:

NOW, THEREFORE,
Pursuant to the powers vested in it by the XU-CSG Constitution and Bylaws of 2022, 2022 XU-CSG Omnibus Election Code, and other election laws, the Commission RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, the political parties above as the confirmed accredited political parties for Botar Atenista 2025.
The XU-CSG ELECTORAL COMMISSION shall disseminate copies of this Resolution and cause its publication in at least two (2) official publications, including its new website, for inquiries and concerns regarding Botar Atenista 2025. Each office working for the Botar Atenista shall implement this Resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately after its publication.
